Donors’ gifts to Lincoln County Health Foundation will provide the vital resources to develop and implement outstanding health related projects and programs that would not be in existence without tax-deductible donations.

Your Gifts Will Help Local Families, and is Tax Deductible
You can make a significant gift, see how your gift makes a difference, and know that all gifts are appreciated. Lincoln County Health Foundation has encouraged individuals, businesses, corporations, foundations, and support groups to consider making a generous gift to LCHF. All gifts will help insure that families who depend on LCMC for their healthcare will continue to experience advanced healthcare services close to home, and at reasonable cost. Since LCHF is a 501(c)(3) organization, gifts to the Foundation are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Helping Others Where and When It is Needed Most
The Lincoln County Health Foundation Board of Directors will communicate clearly and consistently with donors so everyone knows what the goals and expectations are, and how donated funds address specific health needs and opportunities. Donors may choose to make restricted gifts for particular programs, projects, or services, or make unrestricted gifts that allow the board the opportunity to apply resources for areas with the greatest need or greatest opportunity for making a significant improvement.

Giving in Memory or in Honor of a Person, Anniversary, or Event
You can make a tribute gift in memory, or in honor of a loved one, friend, anniversary, or event (e.g., in Honor of Your 50th Wedding Anniversary, birth of a child, or being cancer-free for ten years). Any contribution to the Foundation can be a memorial or honorary gift. Please provide the name of the deceased and the next of kin’s address or the reason for the tribute gift, and the name and address of the person(s) you honored. LCHF will acknowledge memorial and tribute gifts and notify the person you name as the next of kin or the honoree.

Some Possible Uses for Charitable Funds
*Charity Care Fund – to help reduce the costs for individuals unable to pay their share of medical costs.
*Medical Technology Fund – to help purchase vital equipment or technology that will enhance the quality of healthcare provided to LCMC patients.
*Endowment and Planned Giving Fund – to build prudent capital reserves that the Board will invest so the interest and income will support LCHF programs, projects, and services.

Please Consider Donating Your Highly Appreciated Assets
If you have real estate, securities, mutual funds, or other assets that have appreciated in value, consider giving that asset to LCHF. You will get a tax deduction for the current value, and not pay capital gains tax on the difference between your purchase price and the assets appraised value on the day you donate the asset.
