Mark Thorn Appointed CFO

Lincoln County Medical Center (LCMC) is pleased to announce that Mark Thorn has been appointed Chief Financial Officer by the hospital’s Board of Trustees. Mr. Thorn will work for the hospital in a permanent capacity. He succeeds Albert Wiss, who resigned in June and is pursuing other professional opportunities.

Our patients couldn’t be happier with us. We have the scores to prove it. Lincoln County Medical Center (LCMC) Home Care ranks among the top 5 percent in the nation for patient satisfaction.

According to Press Ganey, LCMC Home Care had some of the nation’s highest patient satisfaction scores in the most recent six-month reporting period (December 2010 through May 2011).

LCMC Home Care ranked above the 99th percentile for always responding to patients needs immediately.

With nearly 13,000 patient home care visits in 2010, our modern facility and outstanding staff help us care for our patients who ranked us the top 5 percent nationwide for overall Home Care patient satisfaction.
