How can home care help you?
Registered Nurses will teach you and your family all that is necessary for your care. That includes information about your particular illness, medications, diet, and any special treatments you may need. Your nurse will coordinate your home care with your physician and other members of the home care team to make sure you get the care you need.
Physical Therapists
will work with you to help you reach your highest level of independence by helping you improve your strength, mobility and coordination through exercise, post-operative rehabilitation, gait training and other prescribed therapies.
Occupational Therapists
can help you adjust to or re-learn routine activities of daily living by adapting the way you do things or helping you alter your surroundings to meet needs.
Speech Pathologists
help patients with speech disorders, problems with swallowing, hearing or memory loss.
Medial Social Service Workers
assist you with any social problems which may interfere with your medical progress.
Home Health Aides
provide assistance with personal care: bathing, hygiene and grooming, etc.

Who can refer you to our home care agency?
Anyone can refer you to Home Care - your physician, a friend, a family member, a nursing home, the hospital - even yourself. We're as close as a phone call away. Before home care begins, we would advise you to see your doctor for his recommendations. It is Lincoln County Medical Center Home Care's policy to admit patients and/or residents and render services without regard to race, color, national origin, handicap or age.
How are Home Care Services paid for?
Home Care may be covered by Medicare, Medicaid, most private insurance plans and managed care plans.

Staff Availability
Office Hours are from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.
