Dr. Gregory Gabliani, Board Certified Cardiologist will speak to the preventative measures that can be taken to avoid heart disease among women who are the primary caregivers of loved ones and friends and often forget to care for themselves.
Dr. Gregory Gabliani graduated from the University of Illinois, completed his training at Duke University and completed his fellowship in Cardiology at Parkland Hospital, University of Texas and Boston’s Beth Israel Hospital in addition to spending time on the faculty at SLU. He is very passionate about heart health and looks forward to reaching out to women in our community and alerting them of their personal risk factors for heart disease.
According to Dr. Gabliani "Our Red Dress Luncheon is a great opportunity to reach out to women in our community and alert them to their personal risk factors for heart disease. By joining together we can raise awareness locally about heart disease and help lead women on the path to prevention."

National Wear Red Day is a day when Americans nationwide wear red to show their support for women's heart disease awareness.
Lincoln County Medical Center activities are in partnership with The Heart Truth, a national awareness campaign warning women about their risk of heart disease. The campaign is sponsored by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), in partnership with The Office on Women's Health (OWH) and other organizations committed to the health and well-being of women.
